We are looking for a strategy and sales operations leader for AWS Japan global sales operations team to help drive long-term growth of the business. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and motivated self-starter who is passionate about using data and has a track record of leadership to help us measure and run every area of the business and influence decision-making.
In this role, the candidate will develop and execute AWS Japan business cadences, continuously evolve forecasting models, analyze historical results, and make business recommendations based on those analyses – all in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity. As the COO to the VP of AWS Japan and a member of the AWS Japan leadership team, this role will develop, implement, and manage the business processes, systems, reports, and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.
The strategy and sales operations leader will drive the management cadence of the business. This position manages the execution of area business targets and goals, headcount plans, market segmentation, and demand generation campaigns while proposing improvements to increase business effectiveness and drive desired results. The ideal candidate must be hands-on with data and models, combining analytical excellence with strong problem-solving abilities. They should have experience working with large datasets and relevant technical tools. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams, including data warehouse/BI, business development, finance, marketing, recruiting, and compensation.
