Illumina is seeking a candidate for an Associate Director, Business Development role within the BioInsight Business Unit. The candidate should have experience originating, structuring, and closing strategic partnerships with pharma and biotech companies and have established relationships to drive deal funnel activity.
This role requires scientific fluency across the drug discovery continuum and the commercial acumen to translate that fluency into partnerships that create durable value for both sides. The role spans the full deal lifecycle, from partnership conception and sourcing through execution, and involves close collaboration with Illumina's multidisciplinary R&D team of experimental, computational, and AI/ML scientists.
