This role requires strong strategic thinking, the ability to influence across functions, and proven experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies in a complex, multi-country MedTech environment. You will collaborate closely with regional sales leadership, market access, medical affairs, and global marketing teams to support market penetration, product adoption, and patient access. As a senior member of the regional marketing organization, you will also contribute to building people capabilities, robust processes, and effective ways of working that support long-term growth.

  • Lead and coordinate regional product launches across all DACH markets.
  • Ensure strong cross-functional launch readiness and track post-launch performance.
  • Partner with market access, health economics, and reimbursement teams to support access strategies and value communication.
  • Build strong partnerships with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global Marketing.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and relevant clinical stakeholders across the DACH region.
  • Support Shockwave Medical's positioning as a trusted partner within the clinical community.
  • Provide functional leadership, coaching, and development to marketing team members.
  • Contribute to building strong marketing capabilities, processes, and ways of working across the region.
  • Support regional budget planning, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to Johnson & Johnson standards, compliance requirements, and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of marketing experience within the medical device, MedTech, or healthcare industry, including responsibility for regional or multi-country initiatives.
  • Marketing Expertise: Proven experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies and product launches in complex healthcare environments.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of DACH healthcare systems and reimbursement landscapes.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across functions, countries, and geographies in a matrix organization.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data and insights into clear strategic direction.
