We are seeking a Director, Business Development to lead the identification, shaping and conversion of complex, high-value opportunities across one or more Lines of Business. Reporting into the Vice President, Business Development, this role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution – translating enterprise priorities into actionable pursuits. You will play a critical role in driving portfolio performance, influencing investment decisions, and ensuring disciplined delivery across the pipeline.
You will engage at a senior level with government customers, industry partners and internal stakeholders, helping shape opportunities early and position the organisation for success in competitive environments. Success in this role requires the ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-moving and often ambiguous environments, bringing clarity, direction and momentum to pursuits. You will play a key leadership role in developing Business Development capability, setting clear expectations, coaching teams, and contributing to a high-performance culture.
You are a commercially astute business development leader with a proven track record of shaping and winning complex opportunities, ideally within government, defence or similarly structured environments. You bring:
