AVP - Business Development
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role will be based in the Cebu, Philippines. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As an AVP - Business Development, you will be responsible for scheduling and conducting sales calls and presentations, managing a portfolio of potential accounts, and supporting senior colleagues in various aspects of the deal process. You will play a key role in identifying business opportunities through market research and maintaining awareness of industry trends.
We will count on you to:
- Schedule and conduct sales calls and presentations to potential accounts within a delegated region or industry
- Utilize existing networks and targeted research to generate business interest from small, straightforward accounts
- Assist senior colleagues with deal processes to gain exposure and build relationships
- Maintain awareness of market developments, competitor positioning, and contract statuses to identify opportunities
- Draft due diligence reports and presentations with qualitative and quantitative assessments
- Develop targeted marketing plans for business offerings directed at potential accounts
- Represent Mercer Marsh Benefits at professional organizations, conferences, and events to expand your network
What you need to have:
- Experience in sales or business development, preferably in a related industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze data
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
