Sales Director, Coil and Extrusion

As the Sales Director, Coil and Extrusion, you will drive profitable growth and operational excellence within the coil and extrusion business segments exclusively across the United States and Canada. You will develop and execute business strategies tailored specifically to these two markets, optimizing product portfolios, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve commercial and operational goals. You will work with sales, technical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business plans within the region.

This role may be based in our Pittsburgh location or remote for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a winning business strategy for the coil and extrusion segments in the US and Canadian markets, focusing on profitable growth and market expansion.
  • Lead portfolio optimization and rationalization efforts to align product offerings with market needs and growth opportunities in the US and Canada.
  • Create short- and medium-term action plans to accelerate performance.
  • Lead the sales team and collaborate with marketing team to develop sales tools, collateral, and pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market penetration in the US and Canada.
  • Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leadership to ensure operational capabilities meet business demands and support growth goals within these two countries.
  • Champion new product development programs with technical and commercial teams to maintain competitive advantage and innovation in the US and Canadian markets.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends specific to the US and Canada to inform strategic decisions and maintain market leadership.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders within the US and Canada to support business goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to segment teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field;
  • 10+ years' experience in business management within paints and coatings industry or related industrial markets.
